Curiosity Ink Media, a leading developer and publisher of books for kids and families, has announced the release of a new book collection that leans into the holiday season. The first of four titles, “Snow Boy,” written by D.M. Farrell and illustrated by Glenn Thomas, is a charming story about how a snow person finds friendship, community, and family. The hardcover picture book, which can be pre-ordered at Santa.com, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, and Wal-Mart, will be available September 19.
“How the Gherkin’s Stole Christmas” will be released the week of October 9, with “How the North Pole Works” and “Baldwin’s Big Christmas Delivery” coming the week of October 16.
“As we continue to expand Curiosity Ink Media’s footprint, our publishing efforts provide us with the opportunity to take young readers and families on a journey through highly engaging, holiday-inspired storytelling that embraces the extraordinary,” says Jon Rosenberg, Executive Vice President and Publisher of Curiosity Ink Media. “With each turn of our publishing endeavor, we embark on a journey to illuminate minds, evoke wonder, and kindle the flame of curiosity in readers of all ages.”
He adds, “We’re thrilled to be celebrating the magic of the holiday season beginning with “Snow Boy,” this year’s first seasonal release that takes young readers and families into a world where winter’s magic combines with the warmth of friendship. “Snow Boy” is not just a story, but a wintry tale that reminds us that even in the coldest of times, the warmth of connection can thaw any heart.”
According to the publisher, in the new book, Snow Boy answers the questions, “What happens to a snow person after the individual who makes them goes inside? Are they sad? Are they lonely? Do they miss the attention? What if the snow person happens to peek inside? Will they see a happy family gathering for dinner or reading a bedtime story in front of the fire?”
As Snow Boy heads off in search of where he truly belongs, readers will ask if Snow Boy’s family is with the squirrels? No. With the beavers? Nope. With the big brown bears? Certainly not! Who can Snow Boy snuggle with? Who will take him in? How will Snow Boy find his perfect family? Find out as the entire forest community bands together to uncover the perfect solution and fit.
